I love old book titles...

Just got a box of books in the mail, and here's the title of the one I was the most looking forward to receiving:

Concerning the True Care of Souls and Genuine Pastoral Ministry, and How the Latter is to be Ordered and Carried Out in the Church of Christ by Martin Bucer.

And the subtitle:

Here You Will Find the Essential Means whereby We Can Escape from the Present so Deplorable and Pernicious State of Religious Schism and Division and Return to True Unity and Good Christian Order in the Churches.

And the sub-subtitle:
Knowledge Which Is Useful Not Only to the Congregations of Christ, But also to Pastors and Rulers.

They don't write 'em like they used to!

    They sure don't. These days you're left guessing what the book is going to be about or you have to read the back. The old way was much more informative for sure!
