Sunday's Sermon: Judges 6:36-40

August 6, 2012

Scripture reading: Judges 6:1-40
Sermon text: Judges 6:36-40

Yesterday's sermon dealt with the Lord's call of Gideon to deliver His people, and Gideon's response. I focused particularly on the last part of Judges 6, where Gideon puts out a fleece to receive a sign from the LORD. What's the significance of Gideon's action for believers today? And what are we really meant to learn and apply from this passage?
